General Motors Place Hotels

Vancouver's premiere sports and entertainment venue, General Motors Place has been a staple of downtown Vancouver since opening in September of 1995. This 475,000-square-foot building has been praised for its comfortable seating, excellent sightlines, and hospitality. Since opening, it has hosted over 15 million visitors. General Motors Place is the home of the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks, and is scheduled to be the location for the hockey events of the 2010 XXI Winter Olympic Games. Numerous national and international events have been hosted at the General Motors Place, and famous personalities such as President Bill Clinton, HRH Queen Elizabeth II, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama have been to events there.

General Motors Place offers behind-the-scenes tours, souvenirs, gifts, an on-site restaurant, ATMs, and 30 concession locations. A Guest Services Center is available for help and questions during each of their events. Hospitality is of the utmost importance to the staff of General Motors Place, and they make every effort to make visitors' experiences enjoyable and memorable.
